Throwback Video:Trick Play- Gary Anderson to Vinny to McDowell

Were going to take a break from preseason clips for a little to bring you some Sam Foolery! Gary Anderson to Vinny Testeverde who tosses to a wide open Anthony McDowell for the TD and early 7-0 lead. Click Here to Watch the Video FULL normal size.... They used to say Sam Wyche would rather fool you than beat you. Well he fooled the San Francisco 49ers in 1992 with the help of this flea flicker play. The Bucs early lead shocked the 49ers, and kept the Bucs in close all game. They lost 21-14, and to be honest, makes you wonder how the 93-95 seasons would have gone had Vinny Testeverde stayed instead of Craig Erickson in those years.

Bucstop.com Video Library almost complete

Just to update everyone, after losing my Hard Drive full of Bucs games, my project to rerip them all is underway and about 70% complete. About 85% of the games have had the DVDs ripped to 5.5 Terra Bytes of Hard Disk space, after which each Video_TS file will be ripped to a video file [...]

Freeman should be good to go for Tuesday's practice; Sundays Game

If you missed it, here is the footage of Josh Freeman whipping the ball around at Reliant Stadium early Thursday night before the Texans game.

Corey Lynch is just a plain Play-Maker

You can count stats all you want to; passes defended, how many (or few) TDs you’ve given up, etc. But if you want to play defense for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, you need to come up with splash plays. Interceptions are good; but INTs for TouchDowns? That’s Buc Football. [...]

Regious Benn starting to catch up

Coaches, players, all joined in on the crime; 15 yard penalty for excessive celebration. It never counted because it was preseason, but in the minds of Bucs coaches , it was great to see the man named Arrelious but who goes by Regious had himself one heck of a night. [...]

Kareem Huggins wins Mr. August award for 2010

The name went to Earnest Graham, who consistently performed at a high level during the practice sessions in August, but saw little light after that. Well eventually, Graham became a starter, and saw little action in the second half of preseason [...]

Josh Johnson takes a big step up this preseason

Make no mistake about it; there are some J.J. fans out there!! And with good reason, J J has a remarkable level of understanding of the game, and is very talented physically as well.
But this team belongs to the other Josh, and Mr. Freeman has still shown more than any other Bucs young Quarterback in [...]

Sick of S.I. by now? Check out what Yahoo's Cole has to say about Bucs' Mike Williams.

By now you’ve heard that Sports Illustrated has a person whose name shall not be mentioned here, who feels the Bucs will win only two games this year.

Really? We won 3 games last year with a complete joke of an assistant coaching fiasco, with one of the leagues toughest schedules, and that was over Green Bay at home, New Orleans on the road, and at Seattle where Tampa Bay hasnt won on the west coast since [...]

Special Teams coverage units have been of concern; Connor Barth has Not.

Brent Bowden had a few shanks Saturday night that sent the sparse Raymond James Stadium crown into a chorus of Boos, and Barrett Ruud wasnt making a play either.
That is going to be something Special Teams Coach Richard Bisaccia is going to have to get down quickly because the Bucs cannot afford to go into 2010 with a great defensive weapon that a punter [...]
