Minecraft APK Download Link for Android (Education Edition)

Mojang Studios first released the mobile version of Minecraft on Android in August 2011. Back then it was called Minecraft Pocket Edition, since then the developer has decided to combine all non-Java versions under the Bedrock edition for consoles, tablets and mobile devices. Minecraft is a paid game on the App Store and Google Play Store so you will not be able to get an APK link for it. However, it is possible to download the Minecraft APK for the Education edition and trial edition, both of which are free. Beware of websites that claim to give you a free download link for the Minecraft Bedrock Edition, it could harm your device or even obtain personal information without you knowing.

Minecraft APK Download Link with APK file

Since Minecraft Education’s APK file is unavailable on the Play Store, you can download the XAPK from mirror sites like APK Pure or APK Mirror. After downloading the Minecraft Education XAPK file, locate the file on your system.

  • Rename the file extension from XAPK to ZIP.
  • Unzip this file in any folder in the system.
  • An APK file, an Android folder, and a PNG file will be in the extracted folder.
  • There should be another folder inside the Android folder when you open it. Copy this folder to Internal storage > Android > OBB.

If you download the APK successfully but your device prevents you from installing the game, do the following:

  • Navigate to Setting > Security.
  • Check the option “Unknown sources“.
  • Tap OK on the prompt message.
  • Select “Trust“.

Some devices may have slightly different menus and you can search for “unknown sources” and navigate to the setting to enable it. Enabling this allows you to download any APK files online and install them.

After that, return to the extracted folder and tap the APK file to install it normally. Allow the file manager to install applications from untrusted sources if prompted.
